Saraswati Puja is dedicated to Goddess Saraswati, the divine source of knowledge, wisdom, music and arts. During Navaratri, devotees seek her blessings for education, intelligence, creativity and spiritual growth.
Students worship her for clarity of mind, good memory and success in learning. Aksharabhyasam, a child’s initiation into education, is especially auspicious on this sacred occasion. Worshipping Goddess Saraswati symbolizes the removal of ignorance and the awakening of divine knowledge and wisdom.
